Textbooks: Textbooks are required but will be provided on your first day of class. You will also be required to wear nursing-appropriate (closed-toe and closed-heel) footwear at your clinical experience and in the lab.
Student Dress Code: You will be required to wear scrubs while performing your clinical experience. If you are only taking the classroom/lab portion of the program to refresh your skills, the program can be completed in six weeks or less. Our three course refresher program for RNs and LVNs will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge required by the Texas Board of Nursing for.
Program Length: If you are required to perform a clinical rotation for reactivation of your inactive or lapsed license, this program is designed to be completed in eight weeks. This program is approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Through clinical experience, classroom lectures and hands-on labs, you will have the opportunity to refresh your skills, build your confidence and gain insight into new techniques and technology. Clinical experience is conducted in an acute care medical-surgical facility to provide optimum learning opportunities.
Instructors are experts in the field of nursing and education and will assist and guide you in returning to active participation in the nursing profession.
